The United States of America (often called the USA or America) is a huge country located in North America. It is made up of 50 states, each with its own flag, capital city, and special features. The USA is known for its famous landmarks like the Statue of Liberty, big cities like New York, beautiful national parks, and being a place where people from all over the world live together.

The USA is like a big puzzle made of 50 pieces called states. Some states are very big, like Alaska, and some are small, like Rhode Island. Two states, Alaska and Hawaii, are not connected to the rest of the country!

The USA has some of the most famous buildings and natural wonders in the world.

• Statue of Liberty: A giant green statue in New York Harbor that welcomes visitors. She holds a torch and a tablet.
• The White House: The home of the President of the United States in Washington, D.C.
• Grand Canyon: A huge, deep valley in Arizona with colorful red rocks. It was made by a river over millions of years!
• Mount Rushmore: A mountain with the giant faces of four famous presidents carved into it.
• Disneyland: The famous theme park in California known as the "Happiest Place on Earth."
• Golden Gate Bridge: A big red bridge in San Francisco that goes over the water.

🍔 Yummy American Food

American food is famous around the world!

• Hamburgers & Hot Dogs: Grilled meat served in buns, often eaten at picnics.
• Pizza: Although from Italy, Americans love pizza with many different toppings.
• Apple Pie: A sweet dessert made with apples. People say it is "as American as apple pie!"
• Popcorn: Fluffy corn kernels popped by heat, often eaten at movies.
• Pancakes: Flat cakes eaten for breakfast with syrup and butter.
• BBQ Ribs: Meat cooked slowly with special sauces, popular in the southern states.

The USA has special symbols that represent the country:

• The Flag: Called the "Stars and Stripes." It has 50 stars (one for each state) and 13 stripes (for the first 13 colonies).
• The Bald Eagle: Represents strength and freedom.
• The Liberty Bell: An old bell in Philadelphia that rings for freedom.
