• The Terracotta Army: Thousands of life-sized clay soldiers buried underground to protect an emperor in the afterlife. Each soldier has a different face!
• The Bund: A famous waterfront area in Shanghai with modern skyscrapers and old European-style buildings.
• Zhangjiajie National Forest: Tall stone pillars that look like floating mountains (they inspired the movie Avatar!).

Chinese food is famous all over the world for its variety and flavor!

• Dumplings: Small pockets of dough filled with meat or vegetables, boiled or fried.
• Noodles: Long strands of pasta symbolizing long life. People slurp them loudly!
• Fried Rice: Rice cooked with eggs, vegetables, and meat.
• Peking Duck: A famous dish of crispy roasted duck served with pancakes.

China gave the world four great inventions that changed history:
